Making an Appointment
Psychotherapy practices are organized differently from “normal” medical practices.
Personally reachable
Mondays and Thursdays all day,
at five minutes before the hour.
In order to be able to devote my full attention to the patient during therapy sessions and in order that the sessions not be interrupted by phone calls, I am personally reachable only at the times listed above.
If you would like to request an appointment for an initial consultation, please call me at one of these times. Simply let me know at the beginning of our conversation that you speak English and I will quickly adjust accordingly.
Please understand that with regard to the desire for an initial consultation, I can only rarely accommodate the request for a return call on my voicemail. I further ask for your understanding that I can answer appointment requests via e-mail only in exceptional cases. English-speaking patients, in particular TRICARE patients, may also submit appointment requests by e-mail.
Once we have found a mutually agreeable appointment for an initial consultation, you can safely plan on seeing me reliably and punctually (normally without any waiting period) at the stipulated time. Our conversation will take approximately 50 minutes, so that you will be able to plan at that end as well. My practice is located very centrally, with access to public transportation and parking facilities in the immediate vicinity.
